TikTok Shop Fee & Commission Calculator — US (2026)
The US is the simplest TikTok Shop market to model: a flat 6% referral fee on most categories with payment processing bundled in. What US sellers underestimate is everything else — affiliate commission, FBT fulfillment, and the refund administration fee that appears when orders come back.

The US fee stack in 2026
6% referral fee on (item price + buyer shipping + platform-funded discount − tax). Select jewelry and pre-owned categories pay 5%. Payment processing is included — there is no separate transaction fee line in the US.
FBT is now the default
Since March 31, 2026, independent shipping ended for most US sellers. FBT costs about $3.58 per unit on single-unit orders and $2.86 per unit on multi-unit orders (0–4 lb band), with storage free for the first 60 days. Budget ~$3 per returned unit for FBT return handling.
New sellers: price for 6%, not 3%
Eligible new sellers get a 3% referral rate for their first 30 days (first sale within 60 days of onboarding). Use the toggle in the calculator to see both scenarios — if the SKU only works at 3%, it doesn’t work.
